WORKSHOP: BLOCKCHAIN IN VIETNAM – PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS AND SOLUTION DEVELOPMENT
On March 18, 2026, the workshop “Blockchain in Vietnam – From Real-World Challenges to Sustainable Solution Thinking,” held as part of BK Fintech Hackday Batch 7, was successfully organized at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, attracting more than 70 student participants.
The event welcomed representatives from the Institute for Digital Technology and Economy, the Youth Union of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, as well as program partners including A-Star Group and Varmeta.

The workshop featured two speakers from Varmeta:
• Mr. Le Tien Dat – Chief Growth Officer at Varmeta
• Mr. Tran Viet Tan – Chief Technology Officer at Varmeta
During the workshop, speakers and students engaged in discussions on practical topics, focusing on the role of blockchain in Vietnam’s digital economy and its potential to address real-world challenges. Case studies from technology enterprises provided valuable insights into how blockchain is being implemented in the domestic market.
The workshop also emphasized solution-oriented thinking, particularly in developing sustainable technology solutions—from ideation to real-world application. Interactive discussions between students and experts fostered an open academic environment, encouraging practical thinking and supporting students in their journey to become technology builders.

The event not only delivered knowledge but also offered new perspectives on transforming technology into impactful solutions.
