General Introduction

The Institute for Digital Technology and Economy, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, is seeking candidates who are leading experts from Viet Nam and abroad to apply for positions under the HUST-Talent Project.

HUST-Talent is part of the strategic orientation to develop Hanoi University of Science and Technology into a leading research university in the region, contributing to the realization of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW on the central role of higher education in developing high-quality human resources and promoting innovation.

The Institute for Digital Technology and Economy was established with the mission of becoming a leading research institute nationwide, contributing to the development of the digital economy and digital society through research, development, and application of Industry 4.0 technologies.
The establishment of the Institute also contributes to enhancing Hanoi University of Science and Technology’s capacity for multidisciplinary science and technology collaboration, as well as sharing resources and facilities among research groups. At the time of its establishment, the Institute involved researchers and learners from three main units of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, including the School of Information and Communication Technology; the School of Economics and Management; and the Department of Mathematics and Informatics.
Collaboration among research groups enables the resolution of complex problems requiring interdisciplinary approaches, arising from the fields of economics and finance, which demand the application of mathematical modeling and analysis while being implemented through information technology.

• Extensive teaching and research experience in relevant fields.
• The ability to establish, connect, and develop independent research groups and key laboratories.
