CONFERENCE ON DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY AND ECONOMY (ECOTECH 2026) “DATA & AI: FROM INFRASTRUCTURE TO REAL-WORLD VALUE”
ECOTECH is an annual conference jointly organized by the Institute for Digital Technology and Economy, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, and the Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM). The conference serves as a platform connecting academia, industry, and the technology community in the fields of data, AI, and digital transformation.
In 2026, ECOTECH officially returns with the theme:
“Data & AI: From Infrastructure to Real-World Value”
As data is increasingly recognized as a new production asset of the digital economy under Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, Vietnam has been actively advancing key national initiatives such as the National Population Database, Project 06, and the National AI Strategy toward 2030. However, building infrastructure is only the beginning. The greater challenge lies in transforming data and AI into tangible value in governance, production, and services.
With the goal of fostering dialogue among academia, enterprises, the data community, and legal experts, ECOTECH 2026 will bring together leading scientists, industry leaders, and experts in data and artificial intelligence to discuss:
- National data and AI infrastructure
- AI applications in enterprises and real-world operations
- Transforming data into economic value
- Legal frameworks and data governance in the digital era
